Paper Towns

Paper Towns is written by John Green and is also the November 2009 Teen Book Club book. Quentin and Margo were great friends when younger. After a while they faded. Margo made new friends and so did Q. Margo's past started to become shaky. Finally, one night before leaving high school, Margo spends a great night with Q. The next morning, she is missing. Q ends up using the three last weeks of his high school life looking for the girl that he loved.

Sorry that it goes fast...This was the best one that I could find.

Tricks by Ellen Hopkins

Tricks by Ellen Hopkins is about five teens in five different parts of the US. They are all different. Some are poor while others are rich. Four are straight and one is gay. They all want one thing...which is love. Towards the end of the book they all start to meet each other and this causes their stories to connect.

They want to be needed and loved and for someone else to want them. But all this longing and wanting could be bad. While I was reading the book, I felt connected with the five teens in here. In a way, I think we all are connected. It might not be the same way as these five were, but we can understand how they feel.

Louder Than Words

Lounder Than Words is three stories of different girls. Marni pulls her hair. Chelsey has dealt with alot in her life. Emily is always sick. This is a book trailer about it. I was able to read Marni's story. The book was good. I was just thinking it was going to be a little different then it was. It went back and talked about what in her life caused this problem.
